Since the film premiere in Chicago, many folks have asked about the event poster designed by Ryan Sievert. Well, it’s finally available to own and everything else in the shop is on sale as well. There are a small handful of BluRay/CD boxsets left over from the previous re-stock.
Thanks for all your support, we’ll be sharing new things soon. Everybody from the inaugural OVI project is doing well, working fastidiously on our own respective creative endeavors as we hurled past yet another year. We can’t believe how quickly time past since Vol. I and are whispering/muttering under our breaths about the possibilities
The box set has been sold out for quite a bit, but for those who haven’t seen it… beautiful work by Ryan Sievert of Scenic.

It was an awe-inspiring place that, like so many others points along the way, we almost didn’t see. Hidden down a long and winding (narrow) path to where earth meets the Norwegian Sea, we were amazed by the power of nature during our first day of shooting as a crew.

The screening and live performances in Sopot were a blast. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch the film and see Opiate / Deru / Scenic. Your city is beautiful.
Outliers will be screening at a proper theater in the Netherlands (without the A/V performance), so check it out if you’re in the area.

We can’t possibly describe how excited we are that the album is out in the world and available for digital download via our bandcamp page. Thanks to all of the amazing artists that collaborated with us on this project. The physical box sets are on their way to our studio and will finally ship out before the end of the month. The premiere in Chicago on 7/10 was extraordinarily positive and we’re already talking about future screenings in other cities. Good things to come.
Take aka Sweatson Klank put together this cinematic deep cut for the soundtrack (one of two contributions to the film). One of our favorites.
The "Outliers, Vol. I: Iceland" album will be released digitally on 7/9 (just in time for the Chicago premiere on the 10th) and physically shipping the week of 7/15. There are under 40 copies left for sale, and then they’re gone. Get ready.

The entire Outliers crew is thrilled to announce the first OVI film premiere and live audio/visual performance, taking place July 10th in Chicago at Lincoln Hall. The night kicks off with a screening + Q&A session in what used to be the historic 3 Penny Cinema. We’ve got an incredible lineup of artists from the soundtrack (Shigeto / Sweatson Klank / Loscil), and a special collaborative A/V performance of the film’s
material between Deru and Scenic.
Important: Only the first 200 ticketholders will have access to the screening portion of the night, so buy tickets early if you want to see OVI projected larger-than-life in a historic room with amazing sound.
